Witherbloom, the Balancer by Cardiak

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer pilots a Golgari token-swarm deck that turns creature count into mana and finishes through overrun effects or huge X-spells. The commander's affinity for creatures lets it enter cheaply and close games as a flying deathtouch beater, but the real engine is the token package: Chatterfang doubles every token, while Earthcraft, Cryptolith Rite, Jaheira, and Enduring Vitality convert creatures into mana. Primary wins are Craterhoof Behemoth from Finale/Chord, Triumph of the Hordes infect, Biorhythm life-swing, and Exsanguinate/Torment of Hailfire mana sinks. Hidden commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General, which amplifies Pest Infestation, Awaken the Woods, and Saproling Symbiosis into an overwhelming squirrel army.
