Deck overview

This deck leverages Nissa, Leyline Tamer at the helm of a sans-green big-mana shell. Rather than relying on traditional green ramp, it utilizes an extensive suite of two-mana artifacts to accelerate into its 7-mana commander. Once Nissa resolves, every subsequent land drop draws a card and polymorphs the first creature off the top of the library directly onto the battlefield. The creature suite is heavily skewed toward oppressive high-cost threats such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Archfiend of Despair, Galactus, Devourer of Worlds, and Archon of Cruelty, which rapidly lock down opponents or decimate life totals. Supported by redundant token-to-polymorph spells like Mass Polymorph and Proteus Staff, along with premium defensive spells like Teferi's Protection and Flawless Maneuver, the deck transitions into lethal aerial combat by turn 8.
