7 step brewing deck by JNesselroad3

Format: Commander

Commander: Honest Rutstein

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Honest Rutstein leads a fast Golgari aristocrats and combo engine that leverages self-mill, cheap sacrifice loops, and repeatable graveyard recursion. The deck's primary route to victory is assembling an infinite sacrifice loop, most notably Gravecrawler with Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader alongside blood-artist drain outlets like Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, or Marionette Apprentice. Honest Rutstein serves as an efficient value piece, providing an immediate regrowth effect and persistent cost reduction to accelerate creature chaining. Supported by premier tutors, creature-based draw engines, and mass reanimation spells like Living Death, the deck consistently pivots between fast combo finishes and resilient mid-game attrition.
