Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elf kindred combo engine commanded by Thranduil, the Elvenking. The core strategy uses cheap Elf mana dorks and land ramp on early turns to accelerate Thranduil into play by Turn 4. Once Thranduil is active, the deck leverages graveyard-entombing effects such as Buried Alive, Entomb, or Fauna Shaman to deposit key Elf pieces into the graveyard. By copying the activated abilities of Devoted Druid and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Thranduil generates infinite colored mana and pumps the entire team to arbitrary power via Ezuri, Renegade Leader, winning on the spot on Turn 5 through combat or Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord life drain. In games where Thranduil is disrupted, the deck pivots naturally into a traditional go-wide Elf swarm fueled by Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, and Coat of Arms.
