Deck overview

This Golgari deck harnesses Rendmaw, Creaking Nest to weaponize symmetrical token generation through goad mechanics. By stocking the list with multi-type cards—including artifact creatures, artifact lands, enchantment creatures, and sagas—every spell cast creates a tapped 2/2 flying Bird for every player. Because these Birds are permanently goaded, opponents are forced to attack one another, rapidly shredding opposing life totals while leaving your life total secure. As the skies fill with Birds, asymmetric payoffs like Massacre Wurm, Poison-Tip Archer, and Wing Storm turn the crowded board into sudden lethal damage. Supported by efficient 2-mana ramp and resilient graveyard recursion, the deck turns typical multiplayer diplomacy into forced combat attrition.
