Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger/storm deck built to weaponize Fire Lord Azula as a command-zone copy engine. The core loop is deceptively simple: deploy Azula, attack to trigger Firebending 2 for {R}{R}, then cast instants and sorceries while she's attacking - each one gets copied. That turns every cantrip into two, every pump spell into a double-pump, and every payoff trigger into two triggers. The deck wins through two parallel channels: commander damage via doubled pump spells (Bulk Up, Unleash Fury, Monstrous Rage) on an attacking Azula, or a magecraft-driven table kill where Storm-Kiln Artist fabricates Treasure on every cast *and* copy, Archmage Emeritus draws through the deck, and Ral, Storm Conduit drains each opponent. Past in Flames and Invoke Calamity recycle the graveyard for a second wave. It's a fast, explosive, low-to-the-ground deck (2.44 average MV) that wants to end the game in one big combat turn.
