Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Dragon tribal stompy strategy led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early game using cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and Ruby Medallion alongside mana rocks. Once sufficient mana is established, the deck casts Lathliss to double down on board presence by generating a 5/5 Dragon token whenever any nontoken Dragon enters the battlefield. Direct burn engines like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Sarkhan's Unsealing convert creature deployment into immediate board control and life total pressure. Combat steps are heavily favored due to massive flying bodies, supplemented by game-ending finishers like Terror of Mount Velus and Utvara Hellkite. The deck operates with strong creature resilience and high single-threat independence, but it remains susceptible to board wipes and lacks stack interaction.
