Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius midrange strategy centered on Denzilore Fatehold, transforming scry and surveil mechanics into exponential board growth. By pairing early token producers and utility creatures with cheap, repeatable scry engines, the deck steadily turns modest creatures into formidable threats. Flash on the commander enables efficient resource management, allowing you to hold up countermagic and protection before deploying Denzilore on an opponent's end step. Once established, multi-instance scry cards like Cryptic Annelid rapidly distribute +1/+1 counters across your team. The deck transitions into a game-ending state via asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye, or unblockable evasive alpha strikes through Herald of Secret Streams, Abzan Falconer, and Akroma's Will. Robust card selection from scrying ensures consistent access to answers, while Approach of the Second Sun offers a reliable alternate win condition independent of creature combat.
