Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an aggressive tribal tempo build commanded by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The deck accelerates rapidly in the opening turns using a dense suite of 1-CMC mana dorks, rituals, and low-cost rocks to cast Maralen on Turn 3. Once deployed, Maralen turns every entering Elf and Faerie into library exile triggers and casts opponents' spells for free once each turn. The list pairs this engine with instant-speed flash enablers like High Fae Trickster and Leyline of Anticipation to trigger free spells on opponents' turns. A robust countermagic suite protects the board while evasive Faeries, Lathril, Blade of the Elves tokens, and stolen threats pressure life totals. The deck also contains an infinite flicker loop using Deadeye Navigator and Cloud of Faeries to untap lands and exile all opposing libraries with Maralen in play.
