Deck overview

This competitive Izzet storm deck leverages Vivi Ornitier as a combined mana battery, damage outlet, and draw multiplier. By attaching Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout to Vivi, every noncreature spell triggers Vivi to deal 1 damage to each opponent, generating three card draws per cast. This triggers a self-sustaining loop where cheap spells, positive-mana rocks, and rituals fuel further casting until the table is eliminated via direct noncombat damage. The deck features format-ceiling acceleration like Mana Vault and Chrome Mox, protected by elite free interaction including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Will. When Vivi is contested, robust secondary win conditions through Underworld Breach + Brain Freeze and Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal ensure rapid alternative finishes.
