Deck overview

This is a Grixis "Lord of the Rings" amass/value deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. The primary plan is to grow a massive Orc Army through amass triggers - Sauron's own "whenever an opponent casts a spell" trigger, plus Dreadhorde Invasion, Saruman, the White Hand, The Mouth of Sauron, and Barad-dur - then swing to trigger the Ring tempts and use Sauron's discard-your-hand-draw-four ability to churn through the deck. A secondary Wraith subtheme (Lord of the Nazgul, Nazgul) turns instant/sorcery casts into a swarm of 3/3s that become 9/9s. The deck wins through combat damage from a huge Army, a wraith swarm, or big reanimated threats like Sauron, Lord of the Rings and The Balrog of Moria, with The Scarab God providing a long-game drain.
