Xyris, the Dragon Storm by user8020814

Format: Commander

Commander: Xyris, the Writhing Storm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck leverages Xyris, the Writhing Storm to convert symmetrical card draw and wheel effects into an overwhelming army of Snake tokens. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration and damage triggers such as Impact Tremors or Purphoros, God of the Forge. Once Xyris hits the board, combat damage triggers force card draw, rapidly generating tokens whenever opponents draw outside their normal draw step. The primary win conditions involve weaponizing massive token creation through enter-the-battlefield burn, anthem pumps from Shared Animosity and Beastmaster Ascension, or converting tokens into high-impact Dragons via Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny.
