Deck overview

This Jeskai aggro deck leverages Captain America, Team Leader to convert every cast Hero into an immediate, vigilant, counter-modified attacker. By granting haste and +1/+1 counters upon entry, Captain America eliminates the standard tempo delay of creature-heavy strategies while turning on powerful modification payoffs like War Machine, Avenging Arsenal and Iron Man, Armored Avenger. The deck establishes its mana and commander by Turn 3, deploying an escalating curve of synergistic Heroes on Turn 4 to unlock card flow engines such as Director Nick Fury, Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler, and Reconnaissance Mission. By Turn 5, massive combat multipliers, double strike enablers, and asymmetric board clears like Raise the Palisade produce an overwhelming must-answer board state. While the deck possesses robust single-target protection and high tribal redundancy, it remains vulnerable to mass exile wipes and lacks targeted tutors or proactive stax pieces, leaning entirely into aggressive combat momentum to eliminate opponents across successive turns.
