Rootha, Mastering the Moment 8/13 by BuffaloBear

Format: Commander

Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rootha, Mastering the Moment leads an explosive Izzet spellslinger deck that converts high-mana-value instants and sorceries into massive flying, hasty Elemental tokens. Early turns establish mana acceleration, cost reducers, and magecraft engines. Once Rootha enters the battlefield, casting substantial spells generates formidable aerial beaters immediately on combat. The deck leverages token multiplicators like Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Rionya, Fire Dancer alongside extra-turn and extra-combat spells such as Time Warp and Full Throttle to overwhelm opponents. Alternatively, the deck can close games instantly using the infinite Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame or Replication Technique combo.
