Aragorn by pjm22

Format: Commander

Commander: Aragorn, King of Gondor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jeskai Human deck wins by going wide with Humans and keeping the monarch. Aragorn, King of Gondor gives you monarch when he enters and makes your attacks unblockable while you hold it, so token armies connect. Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Eowyn, Shieldmaiden, Riders of Rohan, Horn of Gondor and the Courts flood the board with Humans and Soldiers. Anthems such as Flowering of the White Tree, Shared Animosity, Anduril, Narsil Reforged and Odric, Lunarch Marshal turn that width into lethal combat. Bard, King of Dale doubles draws and tokens and works with Kindred Discovery and Teferi's Ageless Insight to sustain pressure. A slow Smothering Tithe plus Gleaming Splendor treasure line exists, but combat is the primary plan.
