Deck overview

Slimefoot, the Stowaway commands a synergistic Golgari Fungus and Saproling aristocrats deck focused on generating overwhelming token swarms and draining opponents' life totals. The deck leverages efficient mana acceleration like Sol Ring, Utopia Mycon, and Gaea's Cradle to deploy its commander alongside potent token engines such as Tendershoot Dryad, Parallel Lives, and Chatterfang, Squirrel General. Once established, the strategy operates on dual axes of pressure: threatening massive go-wide combat damage buffed by anthems, while using sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Dictate of Erebos to decimate opposing boards and trigger Slimefoot's lethal passive drain. While the deck boasts immense creature redundancy, resilient recursion via Meren of Clan Nel Toth, and explosive big-mana turns, its lack of non-creature tutors and vulnerability to mass exile effects like Farewell require careful timing of protective spells like Heroic Intervention. Overall, the deck delivers resilient board presence, heavy creature attrition, and inevitable multi-opponent drain finishes.
