Deck overview

This Grixis deck focuses on punishing opponents for drawing cards while constantly forcing them to draw through symmetrical draw engines and mass wheel effects. Led by Nekusar, the Mindrazer, the deck accelerates its mana on turns 1 through 3 using efficient artifacts like Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Talismans. On turn 4, it deploys a core damage engine such as Nekusar, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, or Underworld Dreams. On turn 5, it triggers a lethal chain by casting mass draw spells like Wheel of Fortune, Dark Deal, or Peer into the Abyss, dealing rapid bursts of 7 to 14 damage per player while stripping their hands. Supported by a robust counterspell suite including Force of Will and Pact of Negation, the deck also features an infinite combo in Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal to generate infinite mana and forced draws.
