Deck overview

Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon leads a Boros go-wide token deck that turns each attack into a larger army. When you attack with a non-Gnome, Anim Pakal gets a +1/+1 counter and creates that many tapped and attacking 1/1 Gnome artifacts, so the board grows exponentially. Anthems and doublers like Cathars' Crusade, Divine Visitation, and Elspeth, Storm Slayer make every Gnome lethal, while Purphoros, Impact Tremors, and Warleader's Call add ping damage. Extra combats from Aurelia, the Warleader and Hexplate Wallbreaker double triggers and close games, with Aurelia plus Helm of the Host as an infinite-combat line. Anim Pakal is the main engine; Cathars' Crusade and Elspeth, Storm Slayer act as hidden commanders.
