Deck overview

This four-color Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck is a poison/proliferate strategy first and a +1/+1 counter deck second. The game plan is to get at least one poison counter onto each opponent early - through creatures with toxic/infect or spells like Ichor Rats and Prologue to Phyresis - then use Atraxa, Praetors' Voice's end-step proliferate and a dense proliferate subtheme to ratchet all three opponents to ten poison at once. Simic Ascendancy is a genuine secondary win condition, fueled by the same proliferate effects plus Fertilid, Forgotten Ancient, and Gavony Township. The deck is an incremental, engine-driven archetype: it does not combo out quickly, but it creates inevitability by multiplying counters every turn.
