Deck overview

This deck is a classic Temur Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its game plan focuses on accelerating mana in the early turns through land ramp, cost-reducers, and Dragon Orbs to cast Miirym ahead of curve. Once Miirym is on the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell creates a nonlegendary token copy. This duplication triggers massive enters-the-battlefield burn abilities from cards like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas, or creates overwhelming combat power with Utvara Hellkite and Atarka, World Render. Card draw engines such as Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising draw cards for each token copy, maintaining hand size and velocity. The deck excels at rapidly converting high-cost creatures into game-ending board states, using native ward protection and selective countermagic to push through lethal flying damage across the table.
