Deck overview

This deck leverages Snapdax, Apex of the Hunt atop cheap, evasive, and infect-bearing non-Human creatures to create rapid lethal threats. By mutating Snapdax onto cards like Lost Leonin or Plague Stinger, the deck creates a 3/5 double-striking infect creature on Turn 4 while simultaneously burning a blocker or planeswalker for 4 damage. A strong suite of 1-2 CMC mana rocks and 1-mana protection spells such as Blacksmith's Skill and Loran's Escape helps establish and shield this primary attacker. However, the deck is entirely reliant on natural draws due to an absence of tutors, and its reliance on single-target combat damage stretches the table-wide clock across multiple turn cycles, leaving it susceptible to edict effects, sweepers, and attrition from three opponents.
