Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Nico Minoru, Runaway, focusing on casting spells from exile to trigger widespread noncombat burn across all opponents. The strategy accelerates on turns 1 through 3 with mana rocks and rummage spells, deploying Nico on Turn 4. On Turn 5, Nico begins activating her ability, discarding excess cards to exile and cast nonland spells for free. The deck quickly scales its damage output using potent damage multipliers such as Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, and Spiked Corridor // Torture Pit, turning minor triggers into devastating board-clearing strikes with Chandra's Incinerator and Delayed Blast Fireball. A robust package of low-cost redirection spells, including Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend, shields Nico from opposing removal while the deck burns the entire table down over two response cycles.
