Deck overview

This is an Esper spellslinger value deck helmed by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed, built around the Final Fantasy "Scions" legendaries. The core loop is casting mana-value-3-or-greater noncreature spells, which triggers Y'shtola's ping-and-gain (2 damage to each opponent, 2 life) and, once 4+ life is lost in a turn, refills your hand at the end step. The deck layers several independent drain engines - Papalymo Totolymo, Bastion of Remembrance, Bloodchief Ascension, and the 0/1 Wizard tokens that ping on every noncreature spell - on top of a graveyard-recursion package (Emet-Selch of the Third Seat, Torrential Gearhulk, flashback, delve). There is no fast infinite combo; the deck wins through accumulated table-wide drain, token combat, and a big X-spell finisher like Exsanguinate. It plays a controlling, grindy game that punishes the table for letting it untap.
