Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Tribal Control and Pillowfort strategy led by Reaper King. It leverages the Changeling mechanic to turn every cheap Shapeshifter into a repeatable Vindicate trigger, systematically dismantling opposing boards, commanders, and mana bases. Early turns focus on establishing mana fixing and deploying defensive enchantments such as Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, Collective Restraint, and Smoke to stall opposing attacks. Once Reaper King enters on Turn 6, the deck shifts into an oppressive control engine, supported by Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines to double removal triggers and Leonin Abunas or Cryptothrall to grant hexproof. The deck closes games either through grinding combat damage buffed by Mirror Entity or via an infinite mana combo using Grand Architect and Pili-Pala into a lethal Exsanguinate or Helix Pinnacle.
