Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Elemental kindred midrange strategy commanded by Ashling, the Limitless. Ashling grants all Elemental permanent spells cast from hand an alternate evoke cost of {4} and creates a hasty token copy whenever a nontoken Elemental is sacrificed. This engine effectively discounts expensive Elementals while doubling their enter-the-battlefield and death triggers. The deck accelerates through green land ramp and fixing artifacts, establishes Ashling on Turn 3, and begins evoking card-draw and removal creatures on Turn 4. By Turn 6, it deploys lethal threats like Champion of the Path, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Avenger of Zendikar to create overwhelming board states and direct burn damage. While the deck boasts high card velocity and resilient recursion engines, its reliance on Ashling's presence and its lack of dedicated instant-speed protection make it vulnerable to well-timed removal and board wipes.
