Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros midrange strategy centered on Angel tribal synergies and extra combat steps. Commanded by Aurelia, the Warleader, the deck aims to establish an early airborne presence using cost reducers like Giada, Font of Hope and lifegain engines like Righteous Valkyrie. Once a critical mass of resilient flyers is assembled by Turn 5, Aurelia enters the battlefield with haste to immediately double combat pressure, untapping all attackers and threatening rapid table elimination across Turns 6 through 8. The deck features a remarkably dense defensive suite anchored by Sunforger, Boros Charm, Flare of Fortitude, and Akroma's Will, allowing it to shield its board against conventional sweepers and spot removal. While vulnerable to mass exile effects and reliant on combat connections for velocity, its combination of flying evasion, life buffering, and explosive multi-combat turns makes it a formidable, hard-hitting threat in casual and focused pods.
