Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy strategy commanded by Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. The game plan revolves around accelerating into an early Goreclaw on Turn 3 using an efficient package of 1-CMC mana elves. Once Goreclaw is active, the deck utilizes its static two-mana discount to deploy massive 4-power creatures ahead of schedule. Synergistic enchantments such as Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and The Great Henge convert creature deployments into steady card draw, ensuring a continuous flow of threats. The deck transitions into lethal combat between Turns 5 and 7 using overrun effects from Craterhoof Behemoth or power multipliers like Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus. While the list features explosive combat math and resilient high-toughness bodies, its interaction suite is narrowly focused on artifact, enchantment, and fight-based removal, leaving it vulnerable to spell combos and sweepers.
