Deck overview

Zimone, Mystery Unraveler converts repeated landfall into manifest dread and face-up creatures. The deck uses fetch lands, Harrow, Growth Spiral, Ramunap Excavator, and Ancient Greenwarden to create multiple landfall events, while Trail of Mystery, Secret Plans, Paranormal Analyst, and They Came from the Pipes improve the value of face-down permanents. Large creatures such as Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Worldspine Wurm, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus provide the pressure. The normal finish is a wide board followed by Craterhoof Behemoth, Pathbreaker Ibex, or Triumph of the Hordes. The deck can assemble its engine around turn 5, but its critical attack usually arrives around turn 8 because it must accumulate creatures, mana, and a finisher. Its main limits are singleton finisher access, expensive spells, and only partial protection against sweepers and targeted disruption.
