Deck overview

Ragost, Deft Gastronaut helms a Boros artifact aristocrats and burn engine designed to drain all three opponents simultaneously while maintaining a high life total. The primary strategy revolves around granting Ragost lifelink using low-cost auras or equipment such as Basilisk Collar, Lifelink, or Spirit Link. Because Ragost deals 3 damage to each opponent on activation, lifelink nets 9 life per activation in a four-player game, which satisfies Ragost's end-step trigger to untap at the end of every player's turn. Fueled by disposable artifact tokens, cantrip artifacts, and treasure generators, Ragost repeatedly fires across each opponent's turn cycle, presenting an escalating 12-damage clock per table rotation. A dense suite of twelve one-mana protection spells defends Ragost from opposing removal, while asymmetric board sweepers like Slash the Ranks and Single Combat clear opposing threats while keeping the burn engine intact.
