Deck overview

This is an Esper discard/cycling reanimator deck built around Hashaton, Scarab's Fist. The core loop is simple: draw and discard aggressively, then convert discarded creature cards into tapped 4/4 Zombie copies with Hashaton's ability. The deck is not a one-commander show - Oskar, Rubbish Reclaimer, Raffine, Scheming Seer, Varina, Lich Queen, Temmet, Naktamun's Will, and The Scarab God all act as "hidden commanders" that keep the discard-matters engine running if Hashaton is answered. The primary finishing paths are combat with an army of oversized Zombie tokens, mass reanimation via Rise of the Dark Realms, Grimoire of the Dead, and Ascend from Avernus, plus the compact Drogskol Reaver + Shabraz, the Skyshark life/draw engine. A large cycling package plus Fluctuator and Rhet-Tomb Mystic provides both card flow and discard fuel. The deck is resilient, value-heavy, and willing to win through incremental board presence rather than one fragile all-in line.
