Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 'Tribal-Tribal' midrange build commanded by Sliver Overlord. Rather than running traditional Sliver tribal synergies, it exploits changelings and creature-type manipulation to connect isolated tribal payoffs from across Magic history. The primary engine utilizes Sliver Overlord to tutor changelings like Amoeboid Changeling directly from the library. Once active, the deck changes opposing creatures into Slivers and steals them indefinitely for three mana. Secondary engines include Spirit Mirror paired with Unnatural Selection or Shields of Velis Vel for one-sided board wipes, Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero for Rebel recruitment, and Haakon, Stromgald Scourge to repeatedly cast changeling removal spells from the graveyard. While the deck boasts high tutorability and creative creature control, its five-color mana requirements, reliance on multi-permanent board states, and vulnerability to noncreature threats keep it firmly in casual-to-focused gameplay.
