Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Equipment deck commanded by Ekthi, Contaminator Priest. Ekthi provides an immediate board presence by granting every Equipment living weapon and providing a +1/+1 anthem to all Phyrexians, ensuring that even 0/0 Germ tokens entering with +0/+0 equipment survive as self-sufficient threats. The deck leverages hyper-efficient stat boosts such as Colossus Hammer, Nettlecyst, and Bloodforged Battle-Axe to turn cheap artifacts into sudden attacking armies without needing to pay burdensome equip costs up front. Equipment tutors like Steelshaper's Gift and Enlightened Tutor fetch situational utility or decisive pieces like Mithril Coat or Worldslayer. While the deck possesses explosive midgame combat steps and resilient defensive tools such as Pariah combinations and Avacyn, Angel of Hope, it relies on combat damage to close the game, making it vulnerable to well-timed artifact sweepers and fast spell-based combo decks.
