Deck overview

This Azorius midrange deck is led by Lyra, Tolarian Archangel, combining card draw velocity with lifegain synergies to produce a dominating army of flying Angel tokens. The deck ramps on Turn 2, establishes the commander on Turn 3 or 4, and triggers its ability by drawing three or more cards per turn through engines like Trouble in Pairs, Teferi's Ageless Insight, and The Theorist, Jace Beleren. Once assembled, lifegain enablers such as Soul Warden and Righteous Valkyrie boost life totals past the threshold needed to pump the board into an insurmountable aerial threat. Lethality peaks on Turn 6, closing out the table by Turn 8 via evasive combat damage, Akroma's Will, or alternate win conditions like Angel of Destiny and Approach of the Second Sun. Robust defensive tools like Clever Concealment protect the board from sweepers.
