Deck overview

This Baylen, the Haymaker deck is an aggressive token-swarm engine that converts wide board states into rapid mana velocity, card draw, and lethal damage. By deploying low-cost token generators in the opening turns, Baylen quickly pivots into an engine that taps untapped tokens without needing haste. The deck finishes games through exponential token growth, burn outlets like Purphoros, God of the Forge and Warleader's Call, or decisive combat overruns such as Triumph of the Hordes and Cathars' Crusade. Additionally, the list features an infinite combo between Basking Broodscale and Rosie Cotton of South Lane, creating infinite Eldrazi Spawn tokens that Baylen can immediately leverage to draw the entire library and generate unbounded mana. Strong defensive tools like Clever Concealment and Heroic Intervention protect the board from sweepers, ensuring consistent pressure across standard multiplayer pods.
