Deck overview

This deck is a classic Eldrazi battlecruiser midrange strategy piloted by Ulalek, Fused Atrocity. The plan revolves around developing mana through a mix of early artifacts, mana dorks, and Eldrazi Spawn tokens to cast Ulalek by Turn 5. Once Ulalek is established, the deck seeks to cast mid-to-high CMC Eldrazi spells while holding {C}{C} open to copy both the spells and their cast triggers. This generates explosive boards featuring duplicated behemoths like Writhing Chrysalis, Titans' Vanguard, and Spawn-Gang Commander, eventually culminating in game-ending bombs like Emrakul, the World Anew. Because it eschews infinite combos and fast mana, the deck wins strictly through combat damage across multiple attack steps. It features a diverse removal suite, but high mana requirements create tension between interacting and advancing the board, leaving its combat-centric win condition vulnerable to sweepers across several turns.
