Yuriko

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow commands an aggressive tempo and burn deck that leverages cheap evasive creatures, ninjutsu mechanics, and top-deck manipulation. The primary strategy involves deploying one-mana unblockable creatures on turn one, then activating commander ninjutsu on turn two to put Yuriko directly onto the battlefield attacking. Whenever a Ninja deals combat damage, Yuriko reveals the top card of the library, putting it into hand and draining each opponent for its mana value. By manipulating the deck with cards like Brainstorm and Vampiric Tutor to reveal massive spells such as Commit // Memory and Dig Through Time, the deck rapidly eliminates the entire table simultaneously while refilling the hand and holding up efficient countermagic.
