Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elfball deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking that pairs classic go-wide Elf tribal aggression with graveyard-enabled activated-ability theft. The primary plan develops a dense board of Elf dorks and lords, converts that mana into card advantage and tokens, then closes through overrun effects (Craterhoof Behemoth, Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Finale of Devastation) or life-drain outlets (Lathril, Blade of the Elves, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord). Thranduil, the Elvenking functions as both a legendary-Elf draw engine and a walking toolbox: once key Elves sit in the graveyard, he inherits their activated abilities (mana production, untaps, pumps, removal). Secondary lines include Prime Speaker Vannifar pod chains and Last March of the Ents board refills. The deck plays as a midrange tribal engine that explodes once mana dorks and draw pieces align.
