Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered legendary toolbox midrange strategy commanded by Sisay, Weatherlight Captain. The game plan focuses on fixing all five colors and deploying multi-mana permanents such as Bloom Tender, Faeburrow Elder, and Relic of Legends during the first three turns. Once Sisay is active on Turn 4 with WUBRG mana available, she repeatedly searches the library for legendary permanents directly onto the battlefield. Rather than racing for an instant combo, the deck systematically dismantles opponents by tutoring asymmetric Praetor stax pieces—such as Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, and Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant—on Turn 5. Backed by free protective interaction like Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Flare of Fortitude, the deck locks down opposing resources while growing an overwhelming board state. The game concludes on Turn 7 through massive combat damage powered by Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, or Akroma's Will.
