Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats build led by Teysa Karlov, designed to double death triggers from sacrifice outlets, token producers, and life-drain engines. The strategy focuses on establishing an early board state with cheap sacrifice fodder and outlets, transitioning into mid-game card advantage through engines like Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. It locks opposing creature boards down using asymmetric sacrifice effects like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. The deck closes the game decisively on Turn 6 using infinite death-trigger loops powered by Pitiless Plunderer, Ashnod's Altar, and Reassembling Skeleton, draining all opponents simultaneously with payoffs like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, or Bastion of Remembrance. Even when Teysa Karlov is removed, the deck maintains high functional redundancy across its core combo pieces and tutors.
