Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Temur Dragon Tribal midrange deck piloted by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Its game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns using 1-3 CMC ramp spells and Dragon cost-reducers to cast Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once Miirym is on the battlefield, every subsequent nontoken Dragon spell cast generates a nonlegendary token copy, doubling the deck's board presence, ETB triggers, and combat damage. Standout payoffs like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas convert duplicated entries into lethal direct burn, while Atarka, World Render, Thrakkus the Butcher, and Twinflame Tyrant provide massive combat damage scaling. Card draw engines like Temur Ascendancy and Elemental Bond replenish the hand with each entry, ensuring steady gas. While the deck's high average mana value makes it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and countermagic, its dense threat redundancy and built-in ward protection enable rapid recovery and decisive finishes by Turn 6.
