Tom, Bert and William Gravestorm Cedh Primer (duplicated from Kimaira) by MarcSSJ

Format: Commander

Commander: Tom, Bert, and William

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a turbo Golgari sacrifice-combo deck built around Tom, Bert, and William's ability to convert creatures directly into cards. The commander's {1} activation draws a number of cards equal to the sacrificed creature's power, turning Phyrexian Dreadnought, a 13/13 Carrion Feeder, or a pumped Wall of Blood into a massive hand. Its death trigger returns it as an artifact - a permanent, one-way transformation that preserves the draw ability but removes it as a creature. The 99 is a dense, low-curve (2.06) combo shell: Protean Hulk packages, the Chatterfang, Squirrel General + Pitiless Plunderer loop, Forsaken Miner recursion, and Ashaya, Soul of the Wild/Selvala, Heart of the Wilds mana engines. It wins through infinite death triggers via Vengeful Bloodwitch, infinite Treasures into Finale of Devastation, or commander-driven card advantage into a two-card engine. Eleven-plus tutors and a heavy ritual/dork package make it among the faster decks in its class.
