Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages life as a primary resource to execute high-velocity combo wins. Commanded by Sidisi, Undead Vizier, the deck functions as a tutor-in-the-command-zone engine designed to reliably find mass-draw spells or combo pieces. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through artifacts and black rituals like Dark Ritual and Cabal Ritual. On Turn 5, the primary plan casts Sidisi to fetch Peer into the Abyss, drawing half the library to assemble mana positive outlets such as Skirge Familiar and the infinite drain combo of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond. Alternative routes utilize Bolas's Citadel, K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, Ad Nauseam, and Lich's Mastery to generate massive card advantage. While the deck contains potent creature sweepers and targeted removal, its primary vulnerability lies in stack interaction and an inability to remove resolved opposing artifacts and enchantments.
