Deck overview

This Boros deck leverages Sephiroth, Fallen Hero to turn cheap modified creatures into massive 7/5 attackers. The list curves early Equipment, Living Weapon and For Mirrodin! tokens, and +1/+1 counter creatures into a Turn 4 commander drop. When Sephiroth attacks on Turn 5, Jenova Cells overwrites the base stats of all modified creatures to 7/5, delivering sudden and overwhelming combat damage. Efficient card advantage engines such as Akiri, Fearless Voyager, Sram, Senior Edificer, and Esper Sentinel keep resources flowing, while Sun Titan and Sephiroth's built-in Reunion ability provide resilience against sweepers. The deck also includes defensive staples like Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm to preserve wide boards. As an alternate win condition, the deck features the infinite copy combo of Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame. Overall, the deck delivers aggressive combat pressure paired with strong mid-game sustainability.
