Deck overview

This deck is a focused mono-black reanimator combo deck that leverages efficient graveyard tutors, cheap recursion, and aristocrat engines to execute a fast, decisive finish. Its primary win condition is the two-card infinite combo of Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion, which can be tutored directly into the graveyard via Buried Alive or Entomb and returned together using Victimize or Living Death. Operating 1 to 2 turns ahead of curve thanks to low-CMC mana rocks, cost reducers, and rituals, the deck reliably presents a game-ending state around Turn 4. While setting up, it controls opposing boards through efficient edicts such as Accursed Marauder, Plaguecrafter, and Braids, Arisen Nightmare. If the primary combo is answered, redundant reanimation and backup storm lines through Bolas's Citadel and Aetherflux Reservoir ensure resilient, multi-angled pressure.
