Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck is a high-power proliferate and poison midrange strategy. It leverages format-ceiling fast mana and an extensive tutor package to establish early poison counters on all three opponents through cards like Ichor Rats, Prologue to Phyresis, or cheap unblockable infect creatures. Once the table is seeded, the deck deploys Atraxa alongside powerful multiplier engines such as Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Evolution Sage. These permanents rapidly compound poison counters to 10 within one to two turn cycles. The list protects its operational window using premier free countermagic, proactive Silence effects, and resilient card advantage engines like The One Ring and Necropotence. By attacking player poison totals rather than 120 combined life, it presents a fast, synchronized clock that bypasses traditional life gain and creature-heavy board stalls.
