Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color midrange strategy built around the partner pairing of Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart. The primary game plan curves Michelangelo into play on Turn 2, establishes incremental board presence, and casts Leonardo on Turn 4 or 5. By attacking with Michelangelo, the deck triggers Raid in the second main phase to create a Food token and place a counter, which in turn triggers Leonardo to distribute +1/+1 counters across the entire board. Midgame turns leverage counter doublers such as Corpsejack Menace and Doubling Season, card draw engines like Mikey & Leo, Chaos & Order and Trouble in Pairs, and lethal combat enablers like Raphael, the Muscle, Leatherhead, Iron Gator, or Leonardo's 5-color trample/menace/lifelink ability.
