Deck overview

This Golgari +1/+1 counters deck, helmed by Cleopatra, Exiled Pharaoh, blends a legendary-creature theme with an aggressive counter-synergy engine. The primary game plan involves deploying legendary creatures, using Cleopatra's end-step ability to distribute +1/+1 counters, and leveraging card advantage from Reki, the History of Kamigawa, The Great Henge, and Hollowmurk Siege. The deck can win through overwhelming combat damage (trample, deathtouch, double counters) or by assembling the compact Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Walking Ballista infinite-damage combo. Tutors like Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, and Worldly Tutor search for key pieces, while recursion from Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Reanimate provides resilience. Proliferate effects (Evolution Sage, Agent Frank Horrigan) multiply counters across the board.
