Deck overview

This Boros deck is an Equipment Voltron strategy commanded by Cloud, Planet's Champion. Cloud reduces equip costs targeting itself by two mana and gains double strike and indestructible during your turn when equipped. The deck spends early turns deploying cheap utility equipment, mana acceleration, and draw engines like Puresteel Paladin and Sram, Senior Edificer. Once Cloud enters on Turn 4 or 5, it equips for free and immediately attacks for heavy commander damage. A high density of board sweepers like Vanquish the Horde and Blasphemous Act clears blockers without destroying an equipped Cloud on your turn. Protective equipment like Swiftfoot Boots and Champion's Helm shield Cloud from targeted interaction while evasion tools such as Trailblazer's Boots ensure combat damage connects. The deck steadily eliminates opponents in sequential turns through lethal commander damage.
