Commander: Baba Lysaga, Night Witch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari deck is helmed by Baba Lysaga, Night Witch, a value engine that sacrifices three permanents of different card types each turn to drain each opponent for 3, gain 3 life, and draw three cards. The primary game plan revolves around generating a steady stream of sacrifice fodder-lands, creatures, artifacts, and enchantments-while recurring them from the graveyard. Land recursion via The Gitrog Monster, Crucible of Worlds, Ramunap Excavator, and Splendid Reclamation fuels both the sacrifice engine and mana production. Secondary win conditions include incremental drain from Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and Bastion of Remembrance, plus a finisher in Exsanguinate. The deck is a grindy, attrition-based value pile that out-lasts opponents through repeated card draw and life-drain loops.
