Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger deck helmed by Fire Lord Azula, built around her attack-trigger ability that generates red mana and copies spells cast while she's attacking. The primary strategy is to deploy Azula, attack to generate mana, then use that mana to cast instants and sorceries that get copied-generating massive value or assembling a game-ending combo. The deck leans heavily on copy effects like Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame to create infinite hasty tokens, with backup plans including The Master, Multiplied + myriad loops and copying big burn spells like Breath of Malfegor. It also packs a robust suite of interaction, with 8 counterspells and numerous instant-speed removal spells, allowing it to fight on the stack while advancing its combat-based game plan.
